Modern Warfare 2 Application Released

A Modern Warfare 2 application for the iPhone and iPod Touch has just been released, it included information on how to get every emblem and title, along with all challenges and how to achieve them. It also weapon stats for every weapon. An update that is soon to be released will include scrollable multiplayer maps, with labels. The application looks excellent and stays true to the actual menu design in Modern Warfare 2.

I have seen some great looking iPhone docks in my time, but this one takes it to a new high. The dock from The Sharper Image comes with it's own dedicated app and turns the screen into the actual hands for the base unit.
This nice bit of kit can be sitting on your mantelpiece for $60.

Up until now all apps for the iphone have to go through Apple's strict vetting system to filter explicit and inappropriate content from the itunes store, which causes a lot of apps to be refused on application.

Companies looking for a legal way to sell iPhone apps outside of the itunes App Store are now in luck. Steve Sheraton (the maker of iBeer) has launched Your App Shop, a site dedicated to helping set up store that circumvent Apple's store and vetting system.

Having such alternatives means that all the apps that contain explicit material can now be put onto the iphone, thus meaning that an iWank game can indeed be released on the platform.

"For years, developers of all sizes have been denied access to the world's largest app store for a variety of reasons thanks to a lengthy and convoluted corporate process," Sheraton said in a statement. "Your App Shop is a brilliant opportunity for companies with content not allowed on iTunes or those that just want to bypass Apple completely."

Several of the apps displayed on the site are X-rated, but that doesn't mean it's just for pornography. Any developer rejected from the App Store could theoretically go this route to distribute their app to the public.
